Bachelor of Optometry

Bachelor of optometry offers educational training on primary eye-care including diagnosis, management treatment of eye conditions by prescribing glasses/contact lenses/medical treatment including drug, vision therapy.

Outcomes of the Course

  • Possibility of becoming an Entrepreneur.
  • Practical oriented course.
  • Internship in leading hospitals or nursing homes.
  • Possibility of jobs in government and private hospitals in an around India.

Eligibility: Students from science stream with 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board 

The program is spread over 4 years, divided into 8 semesters of 6 months each.
